Karen M. Golz
Ms. Golz is a retired partner from Ernst & Young (EY), a public accounting firm, where she held various senior leadership roles during her 40-year tenure, most recently as Global Vice Chair, Japan from 2016 to 2017 and Global Vice Chair, Professional Practice from 2010 to 2016. She also served on EY’s Global Risk Management Executive Committee, which was charged with risk management across EY’s global network. In addition to accounting and audit expertise, she has extensive experience helping large organizations successfully navigate the complexities of international trade and regulation. She currently serves as Senior Advisor to The Boston Consulting Group’s Audit and Risk Committee and as a Principal for K.M. Golz Associates, LLC, a consulting services company.
In addition to ADI, Ms. Golz serves on the Board of Directors of Aspen Technology, Inc. and iROBOT Corporation and on the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois Foundation.
Ms. Golz was named Distinguished Alumnus of the University of Illinois, Gies College of Business in 2017. She is a National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) Board Leadership Fellow and was recognized by Women Inc. magazine as a 2019 Most Influential Corporate Director.
Ms. Golz earned her B.S. degree in Accountancy, summa cum laude, from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and is a certified public accountant licensed in several jurisdictions.
