Analog Devices Recognized As First And Only Semiconductor Company To Earn Arrow Electronics' Platinum Perfect Order Award
NORWOOD, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
Analog Devices, Inc. (NASDAQ: ADI) and Arrow Electronics recently
announced that Analog Devices was the first and only semiconductor
company to earn Arrow Electronics Inc.'s 2011 Platinum Perfect Order
Award. The award is the highest honor that Arrow Electronics bestows in
North America for outstanding quality and customer service. Analog
Devices was recognized as the only semiconductor company to consistently
deliver Arrow's customers the right products on time — all the time --
and in perfect condition for all four quarters in 2011.
"The Perfect Order Award recognizes suppliers that share our commitment
to quality and superior customer service," said Don Elario, director of
quality for the Americas and global leader of the quality network for
Arrow Electronics. "At Arrow, we measure our own and our suppliers'
order-fulfillment activities using the same perfect-order measurement
system. Quarter after quarter, Analog Devices has consistently been the
top perfect-order supplier among all semiconductor companies."
Analog Devices achieved a 96 percent 2011 Supplier Perfect Order Index,
according to Arrow Electronics' ordering metrics, the highest ranking of
any semiconductor supplier in North America due to ADI's on-time
delivery record, fewest customer credits and fewest receiving
discrepancies.
"The right components and systems delivered on time to the right
location is the way we do business at Analog Devices. It's part of our
culture," said Lon Bott, vice president of sales for the Americas,
Analog Devices. "Our rigorous internal quality and customer service
metrics, along with Arrow's Perfect Order Measurement System, makes it
easier for customers to do business with both of us. As the only analog
semiconductor company with the majority of its components ready to ship
within six weeks or less, our mutual customers can get the products they
need when they need them."
